Kilruane MacDonagh’s progress to knockout stages

Kilruane MacDonaghs are through to the knockout stages of the county senior Hurling championship after beating Eire Og Annacarthy 1-19 to 0-16 in Dolla.

The north side were out of the blocks early building up an 0-11 to 0-8 lead by half time.

A goal mid way through the second half put Kilruane in the driving seat after Brian O’Meara set up All Ireland winning Under 21 player Cian Darcy, who fired in to the net.
