Kilruane MacDonaghs are through to the North Tipperary senior Hurling final but they will have to wait to find out who they play after Kiladangan and Nenagh Eire Og finished level after extra time.

In Dolla a tight contest was unfolding as Kilruane and Toomevara went in level at 0-10 to 1-7 at the break, the Toome goal coming early on from Mark MacCarthy.

In the second half a Conor Cleary goal on 48 minutes put Kilruane a point up and a series of late scores from Brian O Meara, Jerome Cahill and Cian Darcy saw them claim victory on a 1-18 to 1-13 scoreline.

After the game Kilruane MacDonaghs manager Liam O Shea told Tipp FM Sport it was a hectic game and he was pleased with how his side finished strongly.

Nenagh Eire Og and Kiladangan couldn’t be separated in the other North semi final at Templederry.

In a thrilling game the teams were tied at 1-17 a piece at full time and played extra time after which they finished level on 2-22 a piece.
