The Puckane native stood down from a similar post with Kerry earlier this month citing travel and his management role with Sixmilebridge as the reasons for finishing up after two successful years with the Kingdom.
Former Limerick goalkeeper Joe Quaid is also being linked to the Offally vacancy.
