The FAI has confirmed that Martin O'Neill's side will challenge the four-time World Cup winners at Fulham's Craven Cottage on May 31st, which is just 6 days after their end-of-season friendly against Turkey at the Aviva Stadium.
Italy will use the game as preparation for their trip to the World Cup in Brazil.
The FAI is still planning to confirm further friendly fixtures for this summer, with a mooted friendly against Portual in New York yet to be finalised.
