Irish women’s rugby team claim Six Nations Championship

They claimed a second Six Nations title in three years today with a 73-3 trouncing of Scotland at Broadwood. Their win providing a double for Irish rugby after the men's team retained the Championship yesterday. 

Alison Miller got two tries today, and there was one each for Niamh Briggs, Claire Molloy, Heather O'Brien, Gillian Bourke, Paula Fitzpatrick, Sophie Spence and Tania Rosser.

The men's side arrived back to a heroes' reception this afternoon.
