Reading's Liam Kelly and Brentford's John Egan have both been called up to the squad for the first time, while Preston duo Daryl Horgan and Andy Boyle also feature.

Injury doubts James McCarthy and Richard Keogh are both included, as is Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot for the first time in a year.

Defender Shane Duffy is the only regular not included after suffering a broken metatarsal while playing for Brighton.

In total there are 4 goalkeepers, 11 defenders, 18 midfielders and 6 strikers in the squad, which will be reduced before the crucial clash with the Welsh on Friday week.

Iceland then visit the Aviva the following Tuesday.
