Irish Open heading North in 2015

The world famous links course will stage the Irish Open for the first time in 76 years when the tournament returns there in June 2015.

After the success of Royal Portrush in 2012, the European Tour's Chief Executive, George O'Grady has also confirmed that they will continue their recent policy of switching the tournament between North and South after naming the Lough Erne Resort as the host venue for 2017.

This year's Irish Open will be staged at the Fota Island Resort in Cork from June 19th to 22nd.
