Irish in action at Paralympics today

There's another busy day ahead for Team Ireland at the Rio Paralympics 

Sean Baldwin begins in the R7 50m Rifle 3Positions qualifier which starts at 9.30am.

Deirdre Mongan will be Ireland's next representative when she lines up for the F53 Shot Put final at 10.03.

In swimming, Nicole Turner will go into the water for the SM6 200 IM Heats at 11.30 followed by James Scully in the S5 50m FS Heats at 11.54.

There's equestrian after that with Helen Kearney competing in the Grade 1a Team Test which is due to start at 1pm and Kearney is expected to feature shortly after half past four.

The Sonar Sailors will be in Race 1 at 13.35 with Race 2 expected to start at 3pm. John Twomey, Ian Costello and Austin O'Carroll will all be in the water for Ireland.

The Irish CP Football team will face Great Britain at 4.15pm
