Sam Bennett has been ruled out of the Milan-San Remo.
The Tipperary man was due to compete in the first classic of the year in Italy tomorrow, with the one day race stretching to just short of 300km.
However, his team Bora-Hansgrohe have tweeted to say the Carrick-on-Suir man is ill and will not be taking part in the race.
