The Tipperary County Board have responded to suggestions that Skoda will not be renewing their sponsorship deal.
The Irish Independent is today reporting that they search is on for a new sponsor for the Premier's inter-county teams.
The article claims Skoda have decided not to extend their deal which began in 2011 for an initial three years and was then extended for another 12 months at the end of last year.
However County Board secretary Tim Floyd told Tipp FM this morning that negotiations are still ongoing
The original sponsorship deal was one of the biggest ever at the time with the car manufacturer investing around €800,000 in Tipperary GAA.
