Thurles trainer Andy Slattery notched up a winner in Fairyhouse last evening.
Sharjah recorded the 15th win of his career at Fairyhouse in the Cliona Hagan & Her Band Handicap.
Ridden by the trainer’s son Andrew, he made all the running and stayed on strongly to beat The Mouse Doctor by half-a-length.
Sharjah was returned the 7-4 joint-favourite.
