Horse racing returns to Thurles racecourse this afternoon

It’s the first meeting at the Thurles track since last month’s tragic incident which led to the passing of jockey Michael O’Sullivan.

The first of seven races gets underway at 2.30pm, while the feature race of the day is the Handicap Hurdle at 5pm.

Racing in Thurles comes to a conclusion with the Ballagh Flat Race at 5.35pm.
