Racing to resume in Shelboune Park next week

News that racing will resume at Shelbourne Park next week is being welcomed by Tipperary greyhound owners and local political representatives.

There have been protests at the Dublin track since February over the decision by the Irish Greyhound Board to sell Harolds Cross to fund legacy debts.

Speaking on Tipp Today several local representatives welcomed the resumption of racing however they felt it could have been reached sooner but for promises made by Deputy Alan Kelly –

This is something strongly disputed by Deputy Kelly and Secretary of the Irish Greyhound Owners and Breeders Federation.
