It’s been a good morning for the Irish team at the European Junior Swimming Championships in Israel.
Jack McMillan, Mona McSharry, Ellen Walshe and Robbie Powell have qualified for the mixed medley relay final with a third place finish in their semi in a new Irish junior record time of three-minutes-59-point-9-8 seconds.
While Conor Ferguson, Mona McSharry, Niamh Coyne and Rebecca Reid have all progressed to this afternoon’s semi-finals in their individual events.
