The Tipperary senior hurlers are in league action this evening.
Liam Cahill’s charges welcome All-Ireland champions Clare to FBD Semple Stadium for a 7.30pm throw-in.
Tipp are guaranteed a place in the league final regardless of tonight’s result whilst Clare’s relegation was confirmed last weekend.
Despite that, Shane Brophy from the Nenagh Guardian believes there will be bite in tonight’s game:
“Clare have had a disappointing league and particularly the last game against Cork, they were humiliated on home turf.
“We say earlier on in the legue that they lost to Wexford surprisingly and a week later they turned over Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds.
“With it being their last game before the start of the championship, Brian Lohan will be using this game to really get after his players and say ‘put a bit of pride back in the jersey and pick things up’ so I think there will be a real bit of bite to this game on Saturday night.”
Tipp FM will have full live commentary of tonight’s game with thanks to Arrabawn Stores.

The Tipperary U20 footballers are in Munster championship action this lunchtime.
Niall Fitzgerald’s side welcome Waterford to the Clonmel Sportsfield for their phase one encounter at 2pm.
A win or draw for the Premier would be enough to secure a place in phase 2, where Cork and Kerry enter the championship.
