A 65 shootout could be used to decide next weekends hurling finals in Mid, North and West Tipp.

Should the sides finish level after normal time and two periods of extra time then each team will have five 65’s to decide the outcome.

County Board vice-chairman Joe Kennedy says they were left with no other choice but to reach a conclusion this weekend given the pressure of Munster club action.
