Tipperary’s Megan Ryan is the latest Irish player to join an AFLW side.
The Roscrea native has signed for Essendon as an injury replacement, just two days before the start of the season.
Ryan previously played camogie for the Premier County, before relocating to Australia in 2019.
It brings to 22 the number of Irish players set to play in the AFLW this season.
