There was a close battle for the position of Vice Chairperson of the Tipperary County Board last evening.
Just 3 votes separated Moyne Templetuohy’s Joe Kennedy and Jimmy Minogue of Nenagh Eire Óg.
Ultimately former Mid Tipp chairman Kennedy emerged victorious – 114 votes to 111 at the convention in Thurles.
He spoke to Tipp FM Sport following his election.
John Devane is the new chairperson while Michael Bourke is the new central council rep.
