Cashel King Cormacs were crowned West U19A hurling champions last night.

That’s after they got the better of Golden-Kilfeacle in their decider in Clonoulty.

The game went to extra-time, with Cashel eventually running out winners on a full-time score of 0-30 to 2-22.

They now face a quick turnaround as they are scheduled to play St. Mary’s in the county semi-final on Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Dr. Morris Park.

Elsewhere last night, Killenaule won the South U17A hurling title.

That’s after they defeated Mullinahone in last night’s final in Fethard Town Park on a final score line of 2-19 to 1-09.
