Tipperary’s Senior Hurlers are set to renew rivalries with near neighbours Clare when both sides clash in Cork in a fortnight’s time.

Michael Ryan’s side have been drawn against the Banner men for their All Ireland Quarter Final clash at the new look Páirc Uí Chaoimh on the weekend of July 22-23rd.

It’s the first championship encounter between the counties since the 2011 Munster semi-final which Tipperary won by 4-19 to 1-19.

Tipp set up the last 6 encounter after victory over Dublin on Saturday while Clare was defeated by Cork in the Provincial decider yesterday.

Tipp FM’s Sports Editor Stephen Gleeson hopes the Premier’s return to form will make for a cracking game.
