Liam Cahill’s men faced Laois in a charity game in aid of Mary’s Meals in Templemore.
It was one way traffic for the Premier last night as they faced little resistance in this challenge game running out 4-39 to 0-18 winners.
First half goals came from Darragh McCarthy, Joe Fogarty and Andrew Ormonde, with Ormonde accounting for 1-05 on the night.
Ballingarry’s Dylan Walsh added a goal in the second half whilst Jason Forde accounted for five points off the bench.
Away from the result we saw some of the younger players impress with U20’s Sam O’Farrell, Conor Martin, Darragh McCarthy and Oisín O’Donoghue all featuring, with the Cashel youngster scoring six points from play in the second half.
Next up for the Premier is another challenge game with Dublin on Saturday at 1.30pm in Fethard Town Park.
