Tipp U21 overcome Cork in warm-up clash

The Tipperary Under 21 hurlers beat Cork 0-24 to 1-14 in Clonmel last night as a warm-up for their Munster championship opener against Limerick later this month.

Tipp were out of the blocks early and went in at half time leading the rebels 0-11 to 0-8 with points from across the field including scores from Billy McCarthy and Mark Kehoe.

The premier county pushed on in the second half with points from sub Dylan Walsh and Toomevara’s Paul Ryan who hit five points in total.
