The Tipperary minor hurlers get their Munster championship campaign underway this evening.
The Premier welcome Waterford to FBD Semple Stadium, with throw-in set for 7pm.
Tipp won the Munster final and All-Ireland final last year at the minor grade, but just one player from the All-Ireland final team starts this evening.
Manager James Woodlock, in his fifth year in charge, says he’s looking forward to getting going with a new group.
“We’re looking forward to getting going with another Munster campaign, we have a couple of years down doing it and like all Munster championships, it’s very special.
“It’s a new panel of players, we only have one that played in that All-Ireland final last year and the rest were on the panel or extended panel so really it is a brand new crop that we are trying to mould into a team but look we are really looking forward to it and the sooner it gets going the sooner we’ll find out where we are.”
