Tipp book place in U21 All Ireland final

Tipp under 21 hurling manager Liam Cahill says he’s proud of his players, following an impressive display last night.

The Premier have booked their place in the All Ireland final thanks to victory over Galway at the Gaelic Grounds.

Prior to the game, Cahill had said they wanted to redeem themselves following their Munster final display against Cork – and did so with 6 points to spare.

Jake Morris was one of the stars for Tipp, scoring 1-9, while Ger Browne got 1-2, and Mark Kehoe 1-1.

They now get a second crack at the Rebels in the All Ireland Final – which is due to be held on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of August.
