Ryan says league opportunity to broaden panel base

Tipp senior hurling manager Michael Ryan says they need a broader, stronger panel than ever before.

It comes as the Premier are facing into a season of back to back games – thanks to an earlier league, and revamped championship format.

Tipp face Waterford under lights this evening in Semple Stadium Thurles, following last week’s disappointment against Clare.
