Andrew Ormond says the Tipperary supporters filled their legs with more energy on Sunday.
The JK Brackens clubman has been speaking after the Premier’s victory over Waterford in the Munster senior hurling championship.
A crowd of over 28,000 in FBD Semple Stadium watched on as Liam Cahill’s side ensured their progression into the All-Ireland series.
Man of the match Andrew Ormond says the support makes a huge difference to the players.
“It just gives you such a big lift, it nearly just fills your legs with more energy to hear the chanting and to hear the Tipp support, the genuine supporters out there, they’re just so good to us.
“They really willed us over the line today when we got going near the end there and got three, four, five points in front and then the goal came, you could hear them every step of the way.
“Fair dues to everyone who came, it’s just super having them there.”
