A local analyst is expecting Tipperary to lift their performance this Saturday evening.
Liam Cahill’s side travel to Ennis to take on Clare in the Munster senior hurling championship, where throw-in is set for 6pm.
With one point from their opening two games, Tipp need to beat Clare to keep progression out of Munster in their own hands.
Speaking on Extra-Time, JJ Kennedy is hoping Tipp can get back to their best on Saturday.
“They’ve had the longer rest now so they’ve had time to digest what happened in Cork and to refocus and reset and get back hopefully to what they were doing during the league and to what they did against Limerick in the first match and hopefully that’s the way it will be.
“I’m actually, I won’t say optimistic or anything like that, you can’t be really but I am certainly hopeful that they will come up much stronger in this particular game and I think Tipperary will lift their performance for this.”
We’ll have live commentary of Saturday’s game here on Tipp FM with thanks to The Arch Bar and De Faoite Restaurant, Thurles.
