Tipperary’s Under 20 hurlers go into Round 3 of the Munster Championship on the back of a win and a defeat.
Brendan Cummins side face Clare in Sixmilebridge this evening in the latest step of their bid to retain their provincial crown.
On this weeks Extra Time here on Tipp FM Ken Hogan said the Premier will need to be at their best tonight.
“A brilliant recovery against Cork – we played more like the hurling that we’re accustomed to in Tipperary. Attacking the ball and taking on the Cork defenders. We have very good forwards – a lot of artillery up front. We didn’t do that against Limerick.
“Clare (are) highly rated – remember three years ago this game went to penalties in the Gaelic Grounds and Tipp won the penalty shootout and subsequently won an All Ireland Minor title.”
Throw in is at 7pm in Sixmilebridge and the game will be live here on Tipp FM with thanks to Nenagh College of Further Education.
