Tipp’s victory over Galway in their opening Division 1A hurling league game at the weekend augers well according to former player and manager Ken Hogan.
Liam Cahill’s side were 3-25 to 2-16 winners over the Tribesmen in Salthill on Sunday.
Ken Hogan told last nights Extra Time here on Tipp FM that some of the Galway media weren’t happy with the home sides line up but felt Tipp impressed.
“They were a bit disappointed with the strength in depth of the Galway line out – it was a bit experimental. So I suppose Tipperary can only play what is in front of them. I thought Tipp were very efficient. I thought they played very well, I thought they were fit, strong and tackled vigorously.
“You could see they had done a lot of work on the training field but the attitude was top class.”
