All roads lead to Ennis this evening for Tipperary’s clash with Clare in the Munster senior hurling championship.
The sides meet in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg at 6pm, with a loss for either team likely ending their hopes of progression out of Munster.
Tipp’s last win in the Munster championship came against Clare in the same venue in 2023 and have drawn four and lost five of the last nine games in the province.
Speaking on last night’s Across The Line, two-time All-Ireland winner Ken Hogan says Tipp need to go at this game this evening.
“It’s a big, big day for our management and team, a big, big day.
“I think they know they have to play, they know they have to perform.
“We’ve got our break, we’ve had a couple of weeks to recharge.
“Obviously players are being picked on form, we see new players both on the team and on the panel but I think it’s time for everyone to stand up and be counted.
“We’ve mentioned that our inconsistent record in Munster hasn’t been good.
“We need to get a win, we need to get two points and we need to grasp the nettle and go at this.”
We’ll have live commentary of today’s game at 6pm with thanks to The Arch Bar and De Faoite Restaurant, Thurles.
