Tipp’s performance against Limerick on Sunday in the National Hurling League augers well according to former Premier County goalkeeper and manager Ken Hogan.
There were four points between the sides at the final whistle in the Gaelic Grounds with the Treaty men scoring 15 points in each half while Tipp finished up with 1-23.
This leaves Liam Cahills side with two wins and a defeat from their opening three games in Division 1A.
On last night’s Extra Time here on Tipp FM Ken Hogan said there are many positives.
“We played well in the game throughout. Barry Hogan established himself well as the goalkeeper with his puck outs. Something we have to nail down is a permanent goalkeeper whoever it is – just put faith in the keeper whoever it is.
“Our full back line were excellent – I thought Robert Doyle goes about his business very well, Eoghan Connolly and Michael Breen are playing excellently and that’s a big bonus compared to the instability we had last year.”
