The Tipperary Minor Footballers have won the Darryl Darcy Cup.
They took on Clare in a thrilling Munster Phase 1 final with the game going to extra time in Semple Stadium.
Just a point separated the sides when they met last week in their Round 3 clash with Tipp coming out on top.
Yesterday’s contest was just as close with the sides all square at the end of normal time at 12 points apiece.
Tipp ultimately proved the strongest to run out 1-16 to 1-14 winners after extra time.
Joint manager Shane Hennessy spoke to Ronan Quirke on last night’s Extra Time saying there was great resilience in the side who finished the game with 14 men.
Yesterday’s victory sets Tipp up for a Munster semi-final against Cork who were beaten by Kerry last night.
Clare meanwhile will take on the Kingdom in the other last four clash.
