As it stands Waterford will be without Tadgh De Burca for their All Ireland semi final with Cork on Sunday week.
The All star defenders appeal against his one match ban following his sending off against Wexford was rejected last night by the Central Hearings committee.
It’s understood the Deise will take their case to the Central appeals committee.
If that appeal fails they can go to the Disputes resolution authority.
