Brendan Cummins says he will be taking it one game at a time when it comes to player availability.
The Tipperary U20 hurlers begin their Munster championship campaign next Tuesday against Limerick at 7pm in FBD Semple Stadium.
Under 20 players Darragh McCarthy, Sam O’Farrell, Conor Martin and Oisín O’Donoghue have all featured in the league for the Tipperary senior team this year.
Brendan Cummins says he is regularly in contact with Liam Cahill to manage the availability of these players.
“It’s great, it’s just showing that the work James Woodlock is doing or that I am doing is feeding up in to the senior team.
“Myself and Liam have a great relationship, we are in touch all the time about the development of these players and they were probably on Liam’s radar last year but it was just a year too soon and now you’re seeing the impact they are having.
“So we’ll see, we’ll just take every game one game at a time is the way it is and hopefully the seniors can win this league final in a couple of weeks and give everyone a lift.
“The whole focus of us at underage level whether it’s James Woodlock or myself is to get them in to the senior panel and they are first and top priority at all times.”
The full interview with Brendan Cummins will air on tonight’s Across The Line from 6pm and Tipp FM will have live commentary of Tuesday evening’s game with thanks to Nenagh College.
