Moneygall manager Willie Greene says the previous meeting will focus minds even more.

“Ballingarry are an excellent team.

“We played them in a league final earlier in the year and they beat us by 11 points and it could have been quite a few more on the day, they were streets ahead of us on the day and we’ve a huge gap to make up going in to Saturday.

“We’re really looking forward to the challenge ahead of the fact that we have met earlier on the year sort of focuses the minds a bit more.

“We’re really looking forward to going out and hopefully giving a performance that will win us a county title on Saturday.”

That game is live here on Tipp FM from 2pm.

Elsewhere today, Newport and Sean Treacys meet again in the replay of their premier intermediate hurling final.

The sides couldn’t be separated when they squared off in Nenagh two weeks ago.

Today’s game has a 3pm throw-in time in The Ragg.

The county Junior A hurling final is also taking place this afternoon.

Kiladangan are aiming to bounce straight back up to the third tier when they meet Moyle Rovers in the decider.

That one gets underway at 4pm in Templemore.
