Tipp manager Liam Cahill says his side know what they have to do when they go up against Cork in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship this weekend.
Both of last weekend’s games finished in a draw with the Premier sharing the spoils with Limerick while Cork and Clare also finished all square.
Next Sunday Tipp travel to Pairc Uí Chaoimh to take on a Cork side which beat them by 10 points in the League final.
Liam Cahill says Tipp have learned from that.
“They’re the one team that has pace, skill, power, strength – but I definitely think on the Cork puck out and our puck out there’s gains to be made there from ourselves. And I don’t think you have to be a genius to have seen that after the League final.
“They’re areas we have to go after – we have to be braver on ours and we have to be really, really together on theirs to give ourselves any chances.
“It’s a 10 point deficit – some people in Tipperary will think its more than that but we’ll go down and represent the jersey with everything we’ve got again.”
Throw-in is at 4 o’clock on Sunday afternoon in Pairc Uí Chaoimh and the game will be live here on Tipp FM in association with The Arch Bar and De Faoite restaurant , Liberty square, Thurles.
Declan Dalton comes into the Cork team at right half forward in the only change from their draw with Clare.
