Liam Cahill says there was more green shoots for his side on Saturday evening.
The Premier recorded a 2-22 to 1-21 win over Cork in their National Hurling League encounter in FBD Semple Stadium.
The win makes it 3 from 4 for Tipp, with Kilkenny and Clare to come.
Speaking after the game, Liam Cahill was very happy with the work rate of his team.
“Really happy with the attitude of the players, the way they applied themselves on the field, their work ethic. They way they figured out a lot of things themselves on the field tonight which is really encouraging.
“Little green shoots again as we go through this League. Look, we’re very conscious its spring time, we know that, and summer time is when you’re really going to be judged. But spring time is important for this group of players that we get our house in order and give ourselves a fighting chance come the summer.”
