Bourke wants Ryan to stay at the helm

The Chairman of the County Board says he hopes to retain the services of the Tipperary senior hurling management team next year.

Manager Michael Ryan’s current term is up after Joe Canning and Galway ended their quest to defend the All Ireland title.

But Michael Bourke says the closeness of Sunday’s semi-final shows the Premier are competing with the best and he can’t ask for any more.

He says he’d love to see Ryan and his management set-up returning for another crack at it next year.
