The Premier welcome Kildare to Clonmel Sportsfield in the Tailteann Cup, with throw-in set for 4pm.
Tipp come into the game following last week’s five-point defeat to Sligo whilst the Lilywhites were 25-point winners over Leitrim in their opener.
Speaking on last night’s Across The Line, Anthony Shelly from the Tipp backroom team is well aware of the task at hand today.
“They scored 36 point last week with no goals, 36 points in football is fair scoring.
“I was looking at their results earlier in the week and I think on four occasions, they’ve only played nine games this year but on four occasions they have scored 30+ points so they are heavy scorers.
“We are under no doubt the task ahead of us but they can be inconsistent so we’ll be hoping they have one of their poorer games.”
Tipp FM will have live commentary of today’s game at 4pm with thanks to Tipperary County Council’s Road Safety Campaign.
