The Tipperary Senior Footballers turn their attention to the Tailteann Cup following their exit from the Munster Championship at the weekend.
The Premier lost out to Clare in the provincial semi-final on Saturday in Ennis on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-5.
However manager Philly Ryan says the experience gained from the League and their two games in the Munster Championship will stand to his side.
“We have to remember we’re a young team in the main – a lot of them playing their first year. A lot of them now have 7, 8 or 9 games under their belt so that’s good experience for them.
“We’ll be looking for a good run in the Tailteann Cup during the summer and make a bit of progression.
“But overall Clare are a Division 3 team – that’s what we’re trying to aspire to – we’re trying to get up the levels. It was a good lesson for us.”
