The Tipperary senior footballers might experiment with some players in the next two games according to a local analyst.

Philly Ryan’s side sit in fourth place in Division Four with games against top placed Wexford and third placed Wicklow to come.

The Premier had to do without captain Steven O’Brien in last weekend’s defeat to Limerick while Sean O’Connor and Luke Boland suffered injuries in the game.

Speaking on Extra-Time, football analyst Conor O’Dwyer says the absence of these players means new faces will have to step up.

“Philly even mentioned it himself, they probably will change it up a little bit in the next two games, they can afford to now they have nothing to lose and give maybe some more fringe players a run and see can they get that little bit of a spark, particularly up front.

“They need to take the load a little bit off the shoulders of Seán O’Connor and have a more even spread of scorers and maybe now two league games gives them that.

“Maybe there’s a chance to experiment a little bit, the pressure is off slightly and see can they build towards the Tailteann Cup.”
