County Board admit fixture problems have to be tackled

A senior official on the Tipperary County Board says something has to be done to tackle the fixture congestion being faced by clubs.

Many clubs have been complaining if having to play games just a few days apart due to being involved in both hurling and football championships.

County Vice-Chairman John Devane says they will try to rectify the situation but for now their hands are tied given the structure of the competitions.
