A former Tipperary hurling manager says it will take some time to see what impact the changes to the provincial hurling championships will have.
The new structures were agreed at a special congress in Croke Park recently despite opposition from the likes of Tipp and Cork.
Liam Sheedy says the Munster senior hurling championship will be very competitive as a result of the changes.
