Mairead Eviston says a few tough conversations were had last week following their defeat to Cork.
The Tipperary senior camogie team bounced back from that 18-point defeat in convincing fashion last Saturday.
Denis Kelly’s side beat Wexford 7-18 to 0-07 in Wexford Park in their All-Ireland group stage encounter.
Speaking to Tipperary Camogie after the game, Tipp defender Mairead Eviston says they wanted to be ruthless against Wexford.
“We’re much happier than we were last week.
“We were bitterly disappointed with our performance last week so we just put the heads down during the week, we had a few tough conversations but we just focused on our performance today.
“Ruthless is kind of what we wanted to be and I think we were that for the full 60 minutes and the performance shined through with the finishing scoreline.”
Up next for Tipperary is an away tie with Limerick on Saturday June 21st.
