Two former Tipperary inter-county stars are taking up new roles.
Having retired from the Tipp Senior hurling team last year Brendan Cummins has taken over as goalkeeping coach with the Kerry hurlers.
He has been brought in by new manager Eamon Kelly of Kiladangan.
38 year old Cummins retired from inter-county hurling last year after a career which brought him All Ireland, Munster and All Star honours.
Meanwhile,
Mullinahone's John Leahy will manage the Tipperary Ladies Intermediate football team for the coming season.
The former Tipp hurling and football star was appointed last evening and will be joined by Assistant Manager Martin Halpin from Cahir.
Leahy is currently working with the HSE as a drug education officer and studying in the University of Limerick as a fitness instructor.
He has previously been involved with his club, Mullinahone at Minor and U21 level and served as selector to the Tipperary Senior Hurlers in the mid 2000's.
Tipp were narrowly beaten in last years All Ireland Intermediate Ladies Final – going down by just 2 points to Cavan.
