Former Tipp keeper says Kerry well aware of Premier threat

Kerry will be well aware of the threat posed by Tipp in Sunday's Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final according to former Tipp keeper Paul Fitzgerald.

The defending Munster and All Ireland champions travel to Semple Stadium knowing that Tipp football is on a high following the exploits of the Minor and Under 21 teams of late.

Paul Fitzgerald says the element of surprise is no longer there for Tipp given the underage success of late.

The Fethard native says Kerry will have their homework done and will a plan in place to deal with the Tipp threat.

However he says the Tipp players will relish the challenge.

Throw-in on Sunday is at 3.30 and the game will be broadcast live here in Tipp FM in association with O' Donovan Marquees, Birdhill.
