Former hurler Kieran Bergin joins Tipp footballers

Former Tipperary hurler Kieran Bergin has joined the Tipperary footballers for the 2017 season. 

The 31-year-old announced his departure from the hurling panel just 16 days ago citing work commitments.

It has now emerged he has rejoined the Tipp footballers, following a short stint with them in 2013.

The Killenaule club man trained with the footballers for the first time this season in Thurles last night.
