Forde appeal due to be heard

Jason Forde’s appeal against his one match suspension is due to be held early this week.

The Silvermines clubman was originally handed a two match ban but this was halved on appeal and the offence lessened to ‘contributing to a melee.’

The Tipp County Board is confident it has a good case for getting the suspension overturned so he would be available for the opening round of the Munster Championship against Cork this weekend
