Final day of action at Rio 2016

There are three Irish athletes in action – Mick Clohisey, Kevin Seaward and Paul Pollock all compete in the men's marathon at 1:30pm.

Meanwhile, Olympic Rower Gary O'Donovan has been selected as Team Ireland's Flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the Olympic games.

Gary along with his brother Paul took silver in the men's lightweight double sculls. 

The ceremony will take place late tonight/early tomorrow morning Irish time.
