St. Michael’s are in FAI Junior Cup last 64 action this afternoon.
The Tipp Town side make the trip to Dublin to take on Mount Merrion with kick-off set for 2pm.
The Saints have had a difficult week preparing for the game due to the cold snap here in the Premier County.
Soccer analyst Barry Ryan says it will be a challenging tie in Dublin:
“The preparation for both teams has been completely different.
“Mount Merrion have not been weather affected, they’ve trained away and played games.
“St. Michael’s are coming into off the back of not having played in a while, their last game against Cashel was canceled and then they haven’t been able to train all week.
“It wouldn’t be your typical St. Michael’s preparation for a big FAI game so it certainly makes it that little bit more challenging.”
